STAN AND BARB make their way east on the Tonto Trail between Garnet Canyon and Walthenberg Rapids during our 1994 trip. Based on two previous trips in this area, we were counting on ample water at this day's destination, Copper Canyon, but initially couldn't find a drop. After a lot of frantic searching, we finally located a trickle of a seep spring, and all was well.
