THESE CAVES in the Redwall look like a tempting destination for a scramble, but that's not going to happen on this day, as we want to make decent time in order to beat the heat. The ascent from Boucher Creek to the top of the Redwall is roughly 1,700 vertical feet. After that comes a 1,000-foot climb to the top of the Supai Group.
