SURPRISE, SURPRISE! Stan is feeling chipper enough by now to meet us on the trail about two miles from the top, not far from the cutoff to Dripping Springs. He has brought water and Powerade, so we now are free to guzzle to our hearts’ content during the stiff climb up the final stretch of the Hermit Trail. Barb was one happy camper when her husband unexpectedly appeared.
